Jet Lube Petro-Tape Pure Virgin PTFE Thread Seal Tape is made of pure, virgin polytetrafluoroethylene. This rugged, inert and highly resistant tape is impervious to steam, salt water, air, fuels, refrigerants, acids and alkalies (including sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric, sodium hydroxide and chromic), solvents (including kerosene, aircraft oils, gasoline, carbon tet. and cleaning fluids) and gases (including liquid and gaseous oxygen, hydrogen, ammonia, freon, chlorine, propane, butane and nitrogen). Its characteristics make it far superior to other PTFE tapes for heavy-duty use.

Applications
Use on all threaded pipe connections, valve stems, hydraulic pressure lines and many other fittings. It is adaptable to all threaded materials, including galvanized iron, stainless steel, synthetic rubber, aluminium, plastics, copper, brass, black iron and more.
